Just wondering !!

Does someone turning up in an old banger to a meet or a nice car make that person sexier or more of a chance to get the fun !!!

Not for me, in fact if someone turned up in a new Audi I'd be more off put than someone turning up in a 20 year banger.

Couldn't give a hoot what they drive. What's he/she/they like and are we compatible meet wise on a mutual basis is what's in our thoughts. A regular we meet travels all around the country by train for meets, no car, it matters absolutely not a jot, a Londer so not much of a surprise tbh. Not that shallow.

So you judge a person based on their car not their personality?

That's interesting.

Couldn't give less of a shit what car they drive or if they arrive on the bus. I don't generally get in their car anyway.

Isn't that the same as judging them negatively for having a non-flash car?

I met a guy once for a social and he spoke about a previous meet saying that he would have seen her again but she had a poor car.

Probably, but it would only be a quick thought. Nothing that would stop me carrying on with the social if we'd got that far

Don't get this at all. Right now we're a bit peeved that our car has a bit of damage due to and accident whilst we slept, we have to fix it at our cost, and guess what, we're a bit down about it and slightly neglect it because of this, it's a nice car too. Now our home is spotless because that's how we'd like to live, that's just us, we're clean too by anyones standards. Point is our car say sod all about us and our personal hygiene.

I don't give a flying fuck what car someone drives, after all it's just a mode of transport and tells me nothing about the person.

I drive an old banger, as a relatively new driver it's all i can afford to insure.

If someone has negative opinions on what car I drive then they are not the kind of person I want to meet anyway.

I don't care about someone's car.

We drive all over the place and put more miles on our car in a month than many people do in half a year. It's used and looks like it. I guess people could look at our car instead of us and make their minds up that way, but I think its a bit of a silly reason not to have sex with someone. It's not like I want to fuck in the back seat.

I drive a van, my van is my car.

I drive my van when I'm covered in mud/cement/paint/grass/grout etc and no I don't keep the inside spotless....I, however have a bath every evening and change my clothes so no, the inside of my van is no reflection of my personal hygiene

I'd only consider judging if I were to have the owner over the bonnet of said car. There's space and sturdiness issues to think of

We need to define flash car here. I'm not talking about BMWs, Audis etc. I'm talking about the kind of car that someone wanting to look flash would drive

Put it this way, if a car was going to affect my opinion of someone, and I did say that it wouldn't, it would be more likely to be someone with a flash car than someone with a banger

I see your point , just it was a meet where the car was the venue !

But empty food boxes , (lots ) some banana skins and the car didn't smell good either !!

Just put me off ,,

Well what cars are you talking about exactly? I've drove and drive the two brands you've listed so far including the other famous german luxury brand that you haven't.

I don't try to look flash, I work hard and I like a nice car, would that make me a flash git for having a nice car?

Totally agree with this, I've got a couple of nice cars because I work bloody hard, drive a lot and want something nice to spend that time in. It doesn't make me flash whatsoever... compared to some of my neighbours I'm the pauper round here!

Not sure about how others see us, and we don't care what they turn up in but us turning up in a nice shiny car makes us feel sexy which must make us a better meet.

If I've got as far as meeting someone, the mode of transport is inconsequential. I've mostly not got to see it anyway, or only on a later meet when going somewhere out in the sticks (country house hotel perhaps, together).

I wish I'd not said anything now but I said "I'd think flash git". Didn't say the thought would last long.

And factor this in - I would never be meeting someone I hadn't already decided was a nice guy.

I don't actually judge anyone on cars, I'm not fussed about them at all.

Having said that I've been invited to the new Porsche Panamera launch
