never had posters - so i suppose i've always been OCD about 'clutter' lol

i do however remember being mortified when i was about 18/19 returning from a holiday to find that my room had been decorated with sky blue wallpaper with images of hot air balloons all over it

i think it was mums revenge for laughing at a perm of hers that had gone wrong around the same time

Just remembered I had a poster of Luke Skywalker snogging Princess Leia just before they did that rope swing off of Star Wars 4 (the first one ).

Even for the 70's this open and unashamed approach to handling the prickly topic of incest was refreshing.

I used to draw and paint my own posters on the back of old wallpaper rolls. My sis friends used to buy them off me as well for 50p a shot.

A lot of them were fashion as I wanted to be a fashion designer but also did Marsha Hun, Jimi, George Harrison amongst other in black and white drop out. Made lots of flowers too and had one wall which was a collage of fave pics from magazines.

There used to be magazines called 'Oh Boy' and 'My Guy' that had centerfolds and pics on the back page and I used to plaster my wall with them...David Cassidy, Donny Osmond, The Rollers moving onto Duran Duran, The Police, Spandau Ballet etc.

They also used to run picture stories with the likes of Lesley Ash before she found fame marrying a footy player and being better known as 'Trout pout' lol
