Was chatting in the chat room last night and ended up at some point talking about things growing, for example

pineapple chunks

cola cubes,

wagon wheels (original & jammie)

Does anyone else think of things from childhood they don't seem to see as much

You should try shopping at Farm Foods. Wagon wheels, Golden Wonder Sausage and Tomato flavour crisps, Findus Crispy Pancakes. It's like 1978 all over again... Except the prices anyway, though my local branch are much cheaper than Lidl next door.

I buy wagon wheels all the time, all supermarkets sell them.

One thing I've never seen sold that I used to love, was a pudding from school; cornflake cake thing, it was in pastry with a jam base.

I used to miss bnbns, but they brought them back and now I'm not fussed.

London and France

Telephone boxes that you put a penny ( old money)

And pressed button A when they answered

( or B to get your money back)

And you had to ask the operator if you wanted to call outside your own town
