What people expect to gain or how they believe it's a thread that contributes to conversation is beyond me.

My _iew, bit of light-hearted fun not to be taken too seriously.

Something to do in parallel to messaging people and telling them you're interested, they don't need to be mutually exclusive

Ego boost.... Saying that, thinking about it, every woman and couple tend to get at least a kiss, but mainly a shag.. Virtually of course. Maybe not so much of an ego boost. I swap my answer to pointless.

There is a constant need for validation, whether on these threads, fab threads, pick best picture or any say nice things about the poster above. Some people need it to reaffirm how they feel about themselves, how they need love and caring in their life.

And some, just use them for fun.

Exactly, the rules on these are very clear.

Women must always be fuck or snog or both. Never avoid.

Couples, tend to be likewise. But let's be honest, it's the female everyone is talking about, not the male half.

Men. Mainly avoid - or more likely just totally ignore to say 'fuck' to the hottie that posted 7 replies ago. Unless it's a super hottie with abs and tatts or part of the Forum hierarchy where there will be the occasional 'fuck'?

I think they are confusing.

after the first few posts no one even knows whos passing or snogging or fucking who because people start posting at the same time thinking they are posting about the person above and by time they click send 3 more People have posted since.

I stopped bothering reading those types of threads ages ago.

We've recently joined the forum side of fab. Tbh, a little bored of these kind of threads really quickly. Suspect most of them are blowing hot air and lead nowhere but that might just be our experience.

Approaching direct without the keyboard warriors seems to work better!

Definitely more productive than threads complaining about how others choose to entertain themselves on here.

Each to their own I guess but I think a bit of flirting on a swingers site is perfectly acceptable whether it leads to more or not. We're all obviously highly sexed and it's a good place to have the kind of conversations you wouldn't really have elsewhere
