I'm just curious to know what peoples reply rate is? How many replies do you get per message sent?

It's actually really high.

I mostly message people in the forums, rarely for a meet.

It doesn't lead anywhere but they always message back.

Probably coz there's no way we'd ever meet.

I get lots of replies to my message so that rate is good. I don't reply to many though, so I wouldn't bother messaging me.

Very good. There again, I only message a few people and we tend to chat back and forth. Asking for a meet messages, I'd say near enough to zero as I never send any. I got sick and tired of people snorting with laughter at my bicep.

I'd say 9 out of 10.

I reckon it helps that we read their profile beforehand and put the effort in to write a bespoke email for each couple rather than just sending a vague message or a one-liner.

We don't really message people much anymore.

But when we were looking for people ages ago I'd say it was 20% from women, 60% from single guys, and 90% from couples. Approximately.

zero OP because I don't trawl profiles ( sorry there's no other way to put this) begging for sex or begging to be noticed .

I only message due to forum posts and status up dates on the whole I get around a 90 percent response rate to such messages .

on the few occasions I have messaged about I interesting profile I have had a 100 percent response .

I don't really actively search out fun OP I wait for it to find me through people messaging me this approach does work its a slower easy approach which I can use as I am not hard up for sex and adventures as I have a couple of regular play partners already .

this means I do not need to chase or except any offer that comes my way. just like a lot of couples single guys and girls in the same boat as me don't have to chase nor do they have to except every offer that comes there way ether ,

I rarely go off piste and initiate first contact with anyone who isn't on the forums these days. So in the last 6 months or so I think I've done it twice. One replied, the other didn't.

Even with my basic mathematics abilities I make that 50%

It tells you that you cant send to new users or send to particular users at that time when you're new and unverified. I've had one meet, no first messages and lets say 4 replies of around 20 sent

I rarely contact anyone. If I send a speculative message, introducing myself to someone I'm interested in, then responses are extremely rare (maybe 2%).

At least the last few I sent, were actually read by the recipients, which makes a nice change - even though they didn't reply.

If I'm messaging people who already know me, the rate is much higher (friends are more like 99%).
