Just for fun.

What's the biggest turn offs for you or deal breakers?

It could be related to someone's profile or real life meets/ relationships

I've had a few uh oh moments when with someone.

I'll start with mine being casual racism and a woman that swears too much

What's yours?

Agree completely, people who look down on others or who are rude to people like waiters etc for no reason.

When I'm the only one keeping the conversation going, while they sit there happily pontificating about themselves, totally uninterested in me. Or when the first question is 'what's with the wheelchair?'

Oh and someone who only talks about themselves. Had a social meet, where the guy spoke about himself for two hours straight, every time I tried to get a word in, he'd steer the conversation back to himself. I just ended up smiling and nodding, and watching the clock till I could get my arse out of there.

I think some get put off by the number, even though in fairness most will be social, most guys won't bother reading them and be put off by the number.

Off the grid

I don't like people that are hung up on manners and call other people rude. It's a personal pet hate.

If you'd ever known or working with someone with autistic traits, you'd know how much mental and emotional effort it is to try and remember all these arbitrary meaningless rules.

Someone on here said "manners cost nothing" (grr that phrase sets my teeth on edge). They cost an awful lot to some people.

I like non-judgey, open minded people.

I can's stand guys who tune out while I'm speaking to them. It's the ultimate sign of disrespect if he can’t be bothered listening to me when I'm speaking. It’s doubly insulting to get that treatment from a man you’re in bed with; someone who’s presumably meant to be interested. Mark my words, fellas: Men who don’t listen don’t last long.

And I don't like Chauvinism; men who consider themselves the superior sex belittling women.

People who make demands about what I wear and what sort of make-up I use. One bloke was very insistent that I paint my nails before meeting and mentioned it over and over despite me saying that I probably wouldn't. I didn't meet him.

Also, people who send first messages with detailed descriptions of what they are going to do to me.

I find a lack of common sense can drive me insane, if you can't figure out why you're late because you've turned left and it was actually right seven times you will definitely get on my nerves. I think common curiosity of others is a must as well. There is nothing wrong with being polite and pleasant even if you're not getting what you want.

Central

People who are somehow disconnected from me, possibly they are focused on something else, such as technology, too preoccupied to not listen or want to hear etc.

Those who are rushed - I had an offer of 45 minutes from time of arrival to departure this week - I expect parking takes some of that, so it's insufficient and would debase it for me.

Those who try to change the terms of what's agreed - in life or meets.

There are the obvious such as poor hygiene, time keeping and communication. And any lack of respect for myself or others is a fail.

Maybe when they ask what is with the wheelchair they are actually showing an interest in you? You have photos up both in a chair and without so that's always going to be some sort of talking point.

I do totally agree though on the 'me, me, me' attitude that's common these days. That goes in one ear and out of the other.

Back to deal breakers.... Those that demand this and that and have rules, don't this, don't that etc. Life's short, we're here to enjoy precious little free time so why make things difficult.
