Can't go wrong with a trip to rural Perthshire. The leaves are starting to turn in some areas and there are lots of out doorsy type activities to enjoy. A trip to Edinburgh is also a good option for _iews and history.

Edinburgh and the entire North West, beauty everywhere in Scotland. If it wasn't so cold for much of the year, the entire country would be heaven on Earth. Hope you enjoy yourself!

We spent Christmas in Scotland last year and plan on doing so again this year. It all depends on what you're looking for, of course, but for scenery I think Glen Coe and the surrounding area is the best I've seen in all of the UK.

If you want culture head to Edinburgh, for stunning _iews and a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life head to the highlands, and for pubs clubs and shopping then Glasgow.

Jus my opinion, hope you enjoy your trip

Aviemore is amazing. Lots to do; beautiful scenery; lovely walks and gorgeous in the winter with snow on the ground.

...Up on the Downs

Only time I went to Scotland there was a heatwave! We rode over heather moors with the scent of honey on the breeze and swam in brackish burns after - was blissful!

I believe there is a naturist site in Inverness where a few swingers visit. Could be worth a look.

Last time we visited Scotland we spent a few days camping in Ayr at Sundrum Castle.

If it was me doing it I'd start in Edinburgh then head up the m9 to Perth then continue up the A9 until Inverness, travel down the north shore of Loch Ness and then head across to the Isle of Skye and come back down the west coast.

But that's just me

Fort William.

My parents have a house there, it's a getaway.

You can see Ben Nevis out of the attic window.

The Isle of Arran is Scotland in miniature.

Auchrannie Hotel & Resort is s great base to explore Brodick, Lamlash & Lochranza.
