I often see straight profiles that go on to say looking for cross dressers. How can they be straight, or am I missing something here ?

Are they looking for crossdressers or are they looking for transwomen?

In what way? Eddie Izzard is a cross dresser and he is straight.

That's a valid question, I hadn't thought of. I for example am very attracted to trans women but Cross dressers really don't do it for me

What the OP is referring to is men who are straight but looking to meet trans/cds not men who are straight but Cross dress

I am the same. I use the option on here to let transpeople know I am interested in them (just like I am interested in men and women), but I don't meet male to female crossdressers.

Why the need to pigeonhole people?

You're free to define yourself any way you want

I must be having a brain storm here. I've read and re read the OP and it's not making sense in my head. A straight guy can meet a straight guy who is dressed as a woman. Where's the issue there?

Because just because he's dressed as a woman doesn't anatomically make him a woman, he still has a penis.

So in essence he's seeking a penis Therefore not making him straight?

I'll break this down as I see it......

Wanting to meet a TV, you're not straight.

Wanting to meet a pre op TS, this is open to debate.

Wanting to meet a post op TS, which is essentially the same as meeting a genetic female, you're straight.

"Penis" is not the same as "man".

Some women have penises. Some men have vaginas.

Not sure if I am butting in and taking this off topic, if so, sorry BUT I've been wondering after how many exclusive meets with men does a 'bi-curious' guy lose his curiosity and become 'bisexual' (and thus alter his profile to show this)?

I've seen a profile today, a guy has been on 7 months, has met 91 men (and no female, couple, tv/ts) but is still bi-curious!

Not that it's any of my bees wax really...but it makes me wonder.

I think the going rate is 3 men to stop curiosity.

How you dress does not define you as a man or as a woman - or anything else...

And being a woman doesn't mean that you have to be straight, or interested in men....

For a lot of guys, crossdressing can bring great stress relief and allow them to enjoy the (generally) softer and nicer side that we all have. It doesn't mean they are after meeting guys, just that it's something they enjoy.

Having said all that, I'm in the minority of crossdressers, being a screaming bender who loves meeting men!!

I described myself as 'bisexual' as soon as I realised that I found men sexually attractive. Since I already found women sexually attractive, I figured that liking both meant I was bisexual...

Masculine is the term for things that embody traditionally male traits. Feminine is the term for things that embody traditionally female traits. As society gets more progressive though, we realise that these things are not exclusively male and female.

Dressing is just a fun thing to di for some it doesn't always alter who they find attractive at all.

I have been quite a few guys first TV and rarely in these encounters will i display or use my Penis.

(it stays tucked away in my knickers if you must know)

I am treated as a female and that my favourite type of play.

So its just blurring lines a v

Bit- but does anyone care??? Its jusr good fun right?

There's a site I go on to use the chat room. There are quite a few other TV's on there. I'd say about half are 100% heterosexual. Shame because most of them look great and very convincing. They regularly go out dressed with their wives/partners. Their sexuality has nothing to do with the clothes they wear.
