Ive done 2 and a half hours to ipswich for a social. Well worth it.

As for play meets willing to travel around 100 miles which isnt that far in the grand scheme of things.

I love driving its my way of chilling out and I regularly travel back to my home town so yeah 100 miles is nothing

We've met people while in London, but that was combining it with a city trip.

We're thinking of trying clubs around the country.

Would we travel long distance just for a meet? Never say never.

Hull is quite bleak if I've ever seen a place. One road in and one road out, you turn through double roads to get in to streets. I saw people riding bicycles no handed cos one hand had a can of oranjeboom and the other was smoking a fag. Holderness road I think that was.

Because of the hours I work and the fact I have my kids on my days off. I'm really limited how far I can go in the time available to me, so I would generally say about a 25 mile radius would be my limit.

depends on the type of meet. We will travel for group socials and then possibly travel to meet people again who we have seen at them but as we like to see people more than once we rather meet local.

Saying that I am traveling to Chester in a couple of weeks to meet someone

Who's on a business trip there, but it wont be a first meet. Wouldn't risk traveling for a first meet incase they were not as expected

I've travelled to Watford by train, that took 2 hours there and two back.

If I have the time and money and found someone I really wanted to meet I'd do longer on a train.

I don't want to spend longer travelling than being with the person, if possible.
