I'm curious as to what cars folk drive.

If you have anything interesting or out of the ordinary, or just special to you, what is it??

I've got a 1986 Ford Capri 2.8 injection Special

It's been "nut and bolt", bare metal restored with a few stealthy modern upgrades and period after market parts.

An example just a year newer fetched over a 100k at auction this year

There is, I can't argue with you there!

I wanted something a bit newer but didn't like the 3 series coupes and the 4 was only just out and a bit steep on prices still. Think it's a 4 next time round though.

Funny you say £3,000,000 because that's the number I came up with as a minimum before blowing £200k. Don't know how much that car you mentioned is but I say 3 mil per 200k. It's not logical obviously because new cars are depreciating assets but thats where I would need to be to not feel permanently ashamed of my stupidity
