that you thought were a good idea and then wished you had never started - its a lovely day and at a bit of a loose end so decided to empty the shed completely - brush it out - chuck things away and put back in a different order - mainly so i can get my bike in and out a but easier - THREE hours later - its done - looks as lovely as a shed can do i guess but sheesh

Equally annoying are those jobs that you out off and off because you think it's going to be a pain to do and then when you finally get around to it, it takes 10 min.

yes i have a little book - a page for each room and get great joy at ticking off tasks as i complete them - i once decided it was time to redocorate my bedroom - ended up doing hall stairs landing and 2 bathrooms before i started - all done now !!

I know what you mean. I decided to clean out my cupboards last week and 2 hours later I have a lot less clothes. But...I did find some duty frees I had hidden and forgot about
