So, they're doing a one off night at the O2 next August.

Are you going? Where you a "brosette"? Did you wear grolsh bottle tops on you're feet?

Mrs Hood has gotten her tickets and can't wait

Yeah back in the day I had the gel spiked Bros hair do, tight ripped stonewashed jeans and grolsh bottle tops in my Nike basket ball boots. All the girls in my class at school loved it.

Their parents used to live near my school and were plagued with gangs of schoolgirls by their house. The girls used to have a contact at the local BT exchange and they'd get the family's phone number and it'd be written in a phonebox, the poor sods used to have to change number every few weeks after numerous "is matt there" calls Not off me , I hasten to add

No, the offer is there for Craig to join but he's not taking the offer at the moment.

I had a moment of thinking 'who the fuck is Bros?'

Then it all came flooding back, all the repressed memories.

The horror...

The horror...

I saw Bros at Wembley arena in '89, the support act was Pat and Mick, the capital radio djs! No desire to see them again. If five star reformed I might have to check them out though

Mr

South East Midlands NOT

I think I'm just a wee bit young to have appreciated them. A friend of mine is desperate to go, she's 3 years older than me (still think she's a bit young for them too!) I won't volunteer to go, I don't know a single bros record.

I remember when they played in my home town, at a Roman Fort for a sat morning telly show. I lived beside the Fort and from very early in the morning the streets were filled with young girls hoping for a glimpse.

I was a Brossette (complete with Grolsch bottle tops on my shoes). I loved Luke, my sister loved Matt and our strange friend Caroline loved Craig (someone had to). We saw them at the NEC, we were the envy of the school.

Them, wham, Duran Duran, culture club,

All the reasons I got into stiff little fingers, the clash, the ruts and the stranglers.

They influenced my youth...alot.

I'm assuming that's a line from the song!

I think I recognise the lines when will I, will I be famous but I couldn't tell you any more about the record at all!

I heard an interview this afternoon on Radio 2 with Dermot and Matt. Matt sang live and I was pleasantly surprised.

Came across as a really nice guy and he and his brother have had good careers since the end of bros.

77,000 at Wembley for them recently.

It's a whole blooming tour!! I was very happy to read this as they are the first boy band I loved and they are the only ones that hadn't reformed! I wish Craig was back but hey ho!

Ads didn't know who they were when I told him I was excited. Sadly though I still won't be seeing them
