Right in line with it, didn't know we had qualified till germany v finland result came in, if my memory serves me correctly I'm sure a few had radios on around us. Best World Cup ever in Japan, 6 weeks I spent there, including 2 friendlies. Anti-climax in last game

I never said it was the best....owens goal against the argies, Germany 5-1, 66 of course and destruction of holland in 96 would be up there
