Am I clueless or ....

I have a few female friends who claim that they get hit on by men nearly everyday. Just yesterday a female coworker said one of the guys working on our project asked her out....I seldom get hit on, at least I think I seldom get hit on....could it be that I'm just oblivious to the come on? Or maybe I seem unapproachable?

I rarely, if ever, get hit on. I often get second glances or prolonged eye contact, but I can't remember the last time someone physically approached me in that way.

I (mr) am oblivious to it too though miss says "she was hitting on you" all the time.

I just think they are being friendly.

Miss says she gets hit on all the time, I can see that though, cos its normally in a nightclub on the dance floor, their hand is on her ass or boobs and I'm watching discreetly from a distance

Great turn on.

Maybe your just oblivious like me?

I'm terrible at knowing or recognising when someone is flirting or attracted to me, I was once asked by a lady to 'go back to her room as she needed to change her shoes' to which I replied 'no the ones you're wearing look fine'.

It could happen to me all the time and I'd be none the wiser

One of them i'm pretty sure mistakes friendliness for come-ons LOL...shes a nurse and i think she believes every male patient she has ever had wants to do her!

You are me.

I've rarely ever got hit on ... if I am, I think they're on a bet, or being charitable!

Seriously, I sometimes (often) have problems recognising social cues so that, combined with little self confidence, means I'm usually oblivious too. And I'm very short sighted so often miss opportunities for eye contact - even when someone looks at me, I find it difficult to return their gaze as it makes me feel quite uncomfortable though the idea appeals.

Or it could just be my resting bitch face that puts people off .....

I think it's inevitable that obviously, outwardly 'happy' looking, and confident people who get hit on. Smiley types who exude warmth and who therefore seem approachable and inviting. I don't think it's simply a question of looks - which are subjective anyway - but of confidence. If you love yourself (without being arrogant) that confidence is definitely appealing.

Not saying you are, but if like me, you don't come across as a particularly 'open' kind of person, then unfortunately it kind of stands to reason that others will be less likely to approach you.

Dear Sir

after we have read a message and received additional messages is there a way we can delete old messages AS each time we send a message to a contact it keeps a record each time An example is we have been talking to a very nice couple for over three months and they live in the USA bur the history is still there from the first message sent to us and them . Which makes the reading of mail so long winded "IS THER A AWAY THAT WE CAN DELETE OLD MAIL FROM TEH SAME PERSON THANK YOU JESS" AND james

Depends what you class as being hit on. Some class a smile and a pleasant word with someone as being hit on.

Twice thid year ive had guys walk up to me one asked me if i wanted to go out for a drink some time and one asked me if i wanted to go to the coffee shop. I would of said yes to the second but jay was waiting for me. When i go to the pub im chatted up a lot last week it was the cutest guy ever and he would of been perfect if i was 30 years younger as he was 19

I never get chatted up or hit on. I'm married, so I'm perfectly happy with that, but it just doesn't happen anymore. I can remember the last time someone chatted me up at a bar and it was 5 and a half years ago.

I think I'm an attractive woman, but I think I give off some sort of asexual vibe. Or maybe it's the resting bitch face.

It would generally make me a bit uncomfortable actually. When I want attention from men I'll get it from a specific place (like this site!) - I don't want it if I'm out with friends or family for example, or at work.

They are probably reading friendliness as being hit on. I get hit on in vanilla pubs and clubs but not usually day to day, although i did get hit on in the supermarket a couple of weeks ago but that was the first time in years in a day to day environment.
