So whilst watching this compelling drama last night , the lawyer asks his wife if he has asked her to let other guys to join them in threesomes . No she says , and the lawyer asks if any other objectifying behaviour has been shown by her husband , who is on trial for rape of women going way back .

So I got to thinking , is the fact that I encourage my wife to sleep with other men , sometimes the 3 of us , others just her and another an indication of me objectifying her ?

We chatted and don't see it that way but just wondered what you lor think ?

See this is the thing its down to interrpretation. From your forum posts i see two perverted people who do their own thing and she loves you encouraging her. Someone else may over think the situation and come up with something sinister.

Someone even tried to tell me, that me and jays was a cuckold relationship.

I feel that free will is the important thing. However the behaviour may appear to others providing that, at any point, either/any party has the opportunity to object or change their mind and/or end proceedings then that should be enough to keep the haters at bay.

The fact that she said no was a shame in a way .

If she had said yes , but she enjoyed it , I wonder how the lawyer would have reacted .

We don't give a shit what people think of what we do , and your interpretation is pretty close . It just baffles me that mainstream sees it as a sinister thing .

I think gloswingers are a national treasure. We may find blue plaques scattered around the countryside and homes in years to come.

I'm not sure it's an indication of objectifying, but it maybe depends on the couples' motivations behind threesomes. It's something I find interesting to observe because I can't relate to it at all, I do my thing and he does his and never the two shall meet, I wouldn't want it to. I'll be honest I find some of the couples seeking a woman so they can play and the man can just watch two women a little bit like they are objectifying the women involved. But there are obviously couples where one or both of them really, truly get off on the other person experiencing pleasure, and I don't think there's anything objectifying about that.

(National Treasure has been such a good drama - I love Autumn telly.)

if you treat her as a commodity / object of sexual pleasure only with little or no regard to her as a person then yes you would be objectifying her. As she doesn't think you are then the answer is no.

In the hypothetical scenario of her say wanting a divorce she might be able to prove that you were, who knows!
