In request to AKAs thread ...

I'm currently reading Essentialism by Greg McKewon.....

The application of a more selective criteria .......essentialism versus non-essentialism.

As Fab can be presented as a smorgasbord and also a long list of what we don't eat .....

Would we benefit from reconfiguring our profiles to display a more selective criteria in order to experience a more enjoyable set of emotions - better sex.......?

Physiological response creates our arousal and then we read the profile thus pics are vital... to relay our desire

Pics - to arouse (if all profile pics are cocks/bums/boobs - the arousal is minimised)

Criteria - only list of what we love (if it's a long list of don'ts we switch off)

Thoughts?

I'm all for the patchwork quilt or smorgasbord effect that collective users create, rather than something more akin to a unified system.

This way you get to perceive a good amount about others - whether to ignore or consider sending your FAF requests.

We have a few dont's, we need to make some deal breakers clear.

But we feel we make our likes and interests clear, but people sneer at long profiles so you can't win.
