While I agree that porn is a bit of an issue for many people these days (for a variety of reasons) I don't believe that is the only cause.

You can't just be reasonable and tell any anxiety to fuck off, but you can give yourself a backup.

So, how about taking the drugs which help while you get over the performance anxiety?

Then once you know that you're working as expected and you can rely on them for assistance, your anxiety will have less of a foothold and you'll hopefully not need them. But you can have them in your bag, just in case (which will hopefully be enough to know you don't need them!)

I reckon its a good idea to keep some viagra just on stand by but I just don't want to become addicted to the stuff.

What bothers me more is the feelings of the girl I'm with. Just for the moment she is having to seek pleasure with other men but I know she wants to have the pleasure with me. I will only take it for her as and when.

I was going to take some over the counter viagra today but I didn't get my blood tests back. I said I'm gonna take it but my girl said no. She didn't want to take any risks.

It really is so stressful.

Its like a switch has been flicked and the lights are out.

Go to the doctors. You'll only make yourself worse.

The tablets aren't a long term fix: they will take your mind off it and you'll get out of the cycle of not performing and the related stress.

Speak to your GP, get some medical assistance for standby and just go with it. Good luck OP.

Good on you for fronting up. I went to the Drs years ago because I was struggling to maintain good quality erections.

Got told to cut out red meat, oily fish 3x a week and 30 mins of cardio a few times a week. Did it and fuck me

But tbh it was in my head more than it was physical. Hope you get sorted
