When i receive a message i look at the senders profile first. If i looked at your profile i would probably delete your message without reading it.

If you make yourself sound interesting in your profile you might have some more luck.

I have never got this right... but some things I have learned;

1. Messages have no context, be careful what you write

2. Make a judgement based on the persons profile; there are many sorts of swingers; tailoring a response requires you to think about what the person has written; not just read it

3. Don't tell people what you are going to do to them, unless they ask you too, it can offend

4. Be YOURSELF, if they don't like YOU then they probably won't like being deceived because you are what they want for a moment

5. Be patient once you have sent a message and don't chase; its unattractive

I get accused of being too "dating site" when I write; it's something I take on the chin and yes it has people running, but the people I meet are people I have at least an elementary understanding of and therefore we usually have a good time.

I am not very good at "sex talk" not massively keen on building up weird expectations (cos I am such a let down ) but I am genuinely interested in people that I message.

Watch out for nutters; they come across as nice and genuine and then flip out.... this can happen quite often (maybe I just make people flip out(?!) and suggest a social first (if thats what a persons profile alludes too), its easier to arrange a liaison over a coffee than it is a message system.

That's an interesting insight, is this common practice?

And is it a copy and paste message?

And do you just message anyone who's looking for a single man your age, or where you fit the above criteria & you feel that you can bring something unique to the party?

Tell you how we see it .

Whenever we are contacted by anyone the first thing we do is look at their profile.

If we see a short profile we completely ignore them as it stinks of a lack of effort.

Hope that helps you OP.

When we get a message we look at profile first.

If no face pics we tend not to reply.

But if we get a nice hello message, with smiley face pic and accompanied with a chatty profile, we would say hello back.

Your profile is your "Shop window" Make it work for you.

x
