I'm looking to pick the brains of the bibliophiles

I read half of Venus in Furs but couldn't get into it, sooooo;

What are you favourite erotic lit.?

Is there a vanilla book that has a sex scene that never fails to get the juices flowing?

Do you prefer the written word to porn, if you do, what is your go to?

I don't think Mills and Boon qualifies.

I don't tend to be interested in reading erotic literature because of my attention span but I am willing to be swayed.

I've quite an active imagination myself actually.

Glastonbury

Try: Delta of Venus by Anaïs Nin.

I recommended that to the vicar's daughter. She's never looked at me in quite the same way since

And yes for me at least, in answer to the question, there is something about written erotica that *is* sexier than porn.

If it's done well.

I just thought. I have never read anything by Maquis de Sade.

I saw the film about him. The one with Geoffrey Rush and Kate Winslett
