That's it, it's October - the heating is on and there's a sausage casserole in the oven and a nice bottle of Shiraz on the go.....

Who else needs warming up??

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I was out without a coat today. I have got a blanket nearby as I feel that it's going to be chilly as the evening wears on. The heating doesn't go on until November and the 3 tog duvet is still being used.

Yeah, you've got all that stone and concrete holding the heat in - all I have down here is oak trees and sky! Six degrees - even the grass stops growing at six degrees lol!

Mild here during the day, got 2 loads of washing dry on the line. Home is ruddy freezing though and I don't actually know how to turn my heating on!
