"Let us gather, let us meet,

Make us known, let us greet"

After the success of the last thread (getting to long now ).

I thought I would start a new.

That's me in scotland, pre-Christian beliefs,

East coast Fife. Looking for local Pagans, shamans and witches .

Love cats.... but spiders and snakes make me tingle.

I'm more a Raven/ Crow type.

Fits in with Lee's Totem and the Goddess I pray to.

Nice to meet you.

I thought cats were just symbolic of familiar spirits?

"I thought cats were just symbolic of familiar spirits? "

(Nessa)

I don't think there is a "correct" definition of familiar because magic is different for different people. Magic is fluid.

So I have read all types of farm animals and wild animals. I've read insects and domestic animals.

I think it's what the spirit entity has on hand or the "witch" has close.

If that makes sense. (Just my opinion based on a lot of reading and a feeling in my heart. Not the one truth.)

Kisses

Hi Avalonia,

I know...I know...but the powers that be gave me a lovely cat allergy. I love cats but only between the two legged kind. (Had to flirt that joke in....hee hee)

I do love my wild spiders, Crow and Ravens.

Nice to meet you.

Kisses

If my life had taken different turns I might have found my way to the old ways. I find the whole thing fascinating.

I hope you don't think I'm lurking/perving but I've seen your pics and read your posts. A part of me is very jealous! I live as 'alternatively' as I can but I'm a total straight compared to you guys!

Hiya, Druid...that is wonderful. lovely to meet you.

I follow a lot of Celtic and Pictish practice but the Druid is still so mysterious to me.

I hope to see you more in the forum and posting.

Its nice to see the Raven has made a come back in derbyshire and not just confined to the north of the county in the peak hopefully man can leave them alone in peace they are wonderful fliers in their aerobatics, I have a garden cross spider in my garage in her web I,ve moved her on a few times but I,ve left her this time when it gets colder she will go to cover not sure if she hibernates or not.
