Is it just me or does anyone else agree that black and white pics seem sexier than colour.

Well converted ones that have good quality toning to them look good. Some people think that instant conversion to mono will make a pic' more 'arty'

Any pic that doesn't show people in the cold, hard light of day makes them look sexier. It's what filters and photoshop were made for.

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

Each has their merits,

However b&w photos tend to be more forgiving than colour for overexposure, focus, tonality.. So it is possible to turn a poor colour image into an exceptional monochrome.

I like both. I don't think black and white is inherently sexier, but sometimes a pretty blah image pops when it's desaturated. Especially if, like me, you don't have a proper camera.

I used splash on my phone. It doesn't add colour; it just keeps the colour in the spot you click on and makes the rest black and white.

I'm pretty crap at taking selfies, so I find filters and cropping etc to be ideal for tidying up my images and making me appear as the presentable, not completely fugly guy I like to think I am!

We always throw in a b&w photo now and then. We just like the variety and the way it looks, especially if the light was bad and it's too much effort to correct it.

I was fabbing some really nice black & white photos earlier today, they were well thought out as well.

Black & white does add a certain something to a photo, not sure if it the type of photos on here that benefit from b&w effect, but it works very well.

A little bit harsh i think, to my eyes its not arty, its just sexy.

Perhaps it an age thing, i prefer the black and white " its a wonderful life" to the colour version, ( not in a sexy way obviously)

Just where I need to be.

Depends on the picture whether I change it to black and white. I like to see a mix of colours on a profile. All black and white is a bit boring and sometimes hard to see the image as the colour is too dark. If a picture is taken well doesn't matter what colour it is.

Black and white. ... I think the subject has to match the black and white. Sometimes black and white shows an intensity that gets list with colour photos.

I hope that made sense.
