There are lots of succesfull attached men on here. Pimp up your profile with a few more public pics, get rid of shadow man avatar & post in the forums more.

What people say in public & what they do in private can be poles apart. I've seen those fiercely opposed to cheaters in the forums meet them 6 months down the line.

In fairness quite a few of the recent ones it's not the person that's gone that's created drama. It's the multiple threads, the 'are they okay' posts, the updates that 'I've spoken to them and they are okay' or my fave ever 'they needed a break and are feeling better for it' posted 3 hours after they'd gone that have create the drama.

And on the subject of drama the cynic in me suspects at least one UNLOS has been motivated by the ridiculous reactions to other people going UNLOS to see if their departure and inevitable return gets the ssme response

To be dramatic.

"

Drama by proxy then?

this is the most accurate post. Its actually becoming the best entertainment even though it completly freaks me out to see people being talked about as though they where dead.

I left the other week someone put a "shocked" unlos thread up yet the unlos had pmed their friends to say they where going so they seemed to be devasted about someones going who they werent even friends with. That amused me

I think your thinking is all wrong every time someone joins the forum community they are adding to the community making it better more vibrate for us all .so when someone leaves the site and they are a contributor to the forums and its community the community loses something that's is what people are mostly expressing when they say they will miss someone they will miss the contribution to the forum community.

dark angel gave freely of her thoughts in this community her leaving will in a tiny way make this community less for those who enjoyed reading her posts that all people are expressing when they say they will miss someone who leaves the site and there by the forum community ,

There are 100s of people posting on this forum. Like all forums it's a fluid dynamic and people cone and go all the time. I don't see why we need these obituaryesque threads if people leave without a fanfare.

Most of us don't object to people being missed. It's the "I'm worried that they're Ok" "something terrible must have happened" kinda weird shit that is just odd. People stop using sites all the time. The fact that people think it has anything to do with events on the site i just find plain odd. It's like they are suggesting their entire life revolves around a website. That isn't a sane person's thought process.

The last few posts sum up the phenomenon perfectly for me. Yes when someone you have got to know leaves a site it can be sad, but (the perfectly coined IMHO) "obituaryesque threads" are a little OTT (again IMHO).

If someone has had something truly horrible happen to them as a result of being on Fabs & it was known then I can understand a thread being started to let a group of people know en masse that he / she are okay.

There are people who come and go for nothing more than dramatic impact, they know social media inside out and play it all out for reaction.

They can do that and relish every reaction from the community, it's their choice.

I don't have to empathetic to them but I can look at them and think whatever I choose.

your right it is a assumption I for one come and go myself mainly to do with spare time constrains and how I choose to use that spare time .

if I have some spare time and room for a few more friends in my life I come on here and go on the warpath to try and find them.

if I have no such room in my life I leave my profile sitting here unused .

the fact someone erases there profile makes one think the worst where as hiding it or just leaving it unused kind of implies things are ok where as the other doesn't in my opinion .

yes one day I may choose off my own back to leave this game behind me and on the day I choose to do that I would erase my profile but I'm the kind of guy who would post a goodbye post for no other reason that to say thanks for the fun prev,s

Beard. Oh it's driving me mad now, I've tried to work it out, and I can't and my nosiness is getting the better of me, so I'm putting my cards on the table, yes I'm nosey, but I really want to know, who the bloody hell were you when you were on here before? Mrs blue eyes "

Haha! I think you're making the assumption that I was a forumite of note

what ever happens to force someone off a site must be something in there eyes that has ruined the fun of being here .what ever it was is personal to them to me it may seem trivial maybe even to you but to them is was something and as a empathic human being one can not help but feel sorry for there polite .

that ability to feel for others makes us human after all and separates and differences us from animals .

This illustrates my point entirely. Why assume they have been forced off the site? That's exactly what i was referring to in my previous posts.

your right it is a assumption I for one come and go myself mainly to do with spare time constrains and how I choose to use that spare time .

if I have some spare time and room for a few more friends in my life I come on here and go on the warpath to try and find them.

if I have no such room in my life I leave my profile sitting here unused .

the fact someone erases there profile makes one think the worst where as hiding it or just leaving it unused kind of implies things are ok where as the other doesn't in my opinion .

yes one day I may choose off my own back to leave this game behind me and on the day I choose to do that I would erase my profile but I'm the kind of guy who would post a goodbye post for no other reason that to say thanks for the fun prev,s "

What do you mean by 'think the worst', surely this speaks more about you than anything else?

There can be any number of reasons someone might go UNLOS including simply being bored with the site, or losing interest in it, maybe meeting someone in real life that isn't into swinging, a lifestyle change, for effect and many many more that aren't "the worst"...so really have no idea why you'd "think the worst" because someone goes UNLOS _andsonjohn?

of coarse it does I wouldn't deny that fact since when has worrying about another persons wellbeing based off a assumption been a crime...? is not that what being a living breathing human being is all about caring .
