"There was an hour long programe about meat earlier on bbc one, never really knew thst bacon, sausages, and processed meats were so bad for us,bacon seems to be the worst, yet its part of our english breakfast, and it seems the cheaper chicken is just as good for us as the organic chicken, and the offal of the animal is far better for us than the rest of it,would you give up meat, and what part of the animal wouldnt.you eat." I've always known nitrate isn't good but bacon is fucking tasty.

Its hard to take these things seriously..i mean eggs and butter were once bad for for us but now they are not. Obviously processed meats are no way better than something more natural but where do you draw the line? People have lived longer or shorter no matter what they have eaten over the years. Personally I think illness is either hereditary or unfortunate bad luck..but also some things are self inflicted! Don't think I coild eat tripe though but one thing I coild never give up is eating pu$$y lol

"It all depends on how the bacon is cured the mass produced bacon in supermarkets etc is just injected with salts and water. Dry cured is actually layer to rest in dry salt and turned so the meat absorbs the salts. Just look at the difference in how much water comes out of supermarket bacon...well over 10% of the weight is water that you pay for.. they also inject water into chickens to make them plumper and look better. It's not what good for us and what's not. .it's what tastes best and in moderation. " We know the cheap and cheerful stuff from the supermarket is crap...but we the public demand cheap and affordable so... Me, i quite like to bag my own meat sometimes. Nothing quite like a rabbit or bit of game you've killed yourself. Gives you a real connection with your plate

"I used to love liver until my uncle told me that there's traces of poop in it, is that true? I want to have liver again my grampa cooks it really nice. " Ah... How our citizens are being failed by the education system! There are no "traces of poop" in liver. The biology of that is just..... no.

"Mmmmmmmm liver bacon and onions in gravy with mashed potatoes. OP look up the Gascon paradox. They eat the most saturated fat but have the lowest rates of heart disease. It's all about balance though. They eat a lot of fresh fruit and veg too. " ..I did and its very interesting reading, thankyou
