So driving home from work the first single I ever bought came on - Ini Kamoze - Here comes the Hotstepper and I was happily singing along.

So the question is - what was the first single you bought ? And do you still love it ?

I still love ini kamoze..he's done some great work. A sample from his tune 'world a reggae' appears on damian marleys welcome to jamrock

Hate it every time this question pops up as it forces me to embarass myself by giving the honest answer which is the 7 or 8 year old me I bought two at the same time which were....wait for it....Long Haired Lover From Liverpool by Jimmy Osmond and Nice One Cyril by The Cockerel Chorus...

...as a Spurs fan I can forgive myself the latter one...the first I just cringe and claim the innocence of youth!!

First "proper" single however was Slap & Tickle by Squeeze

Never really bought singles, was always an album type of guy, so it has to be AC/DC - Dirty Deeds as they were the first band I ever saw back in 1977
