So, it's just around the corner, and despite it being my birthday month, I'm planning on stopping drinking for the whole of October.

I've got two hen weekends and a christening (my October is like a shit Hugh Grant film) so I'm not doing it this year.

If you want to really punish yourself, November is the one to do sober...the long, dark, dreek slog to Christmas.

Well,I'm supposed to be at an all day wine tasting affair the first weekend of novemeber so that won't be happening!

I did the Dryathlon in January, was going to do the October one as well but since I only have an alcoholic now every 3 to 4 weeks I kinda didn't see the point, just sponser others to do it instead.

If you don't mind the thought of non alcoholic wine, try Fre Zinfandel it's not bad. Koppaburg do non alcoholic versions as well which are quite nice.

Makes a change from soft drinks.
