Smell. Some meds I was on earlier in the year screwed my taste sense up and it was horrible. I felt like I was eating weetabix all the time, everything tasted the same

What? How would you smell out fakes?

Mrs ddc's sense of timing is rarely used (my cup of tea is late again)

Obviously I have little use for my sense of propriety...

(wibble)

People say smell but I wonder whether we could keep taste without smell - I think the two are too closely linked.

Ever tried to eat food you can't smell...?

I completely agree, you can always taste something e.g. Chips just by smelling it, or a BBQ !

True, we use our taste buds as scent receptors

Smell actually influences taste a great deal You can tell eating food whilst full of cold germs

For me it would definitely be hearing Just have to see, feel and taste the man I'm with
