Sounds to me like a 'dad' thing, so understated, so reassuringly Earthy and unglamorous, just a man being a man.

I'm with you guys. Long sleeves rolled is the way forward. Looks better, plus where it's rolled will grip the elbow, no loose sleeve ends.

Quite happy to validate that theory ..I think short sleeved shirts shout out "grandad" to me....HOWEVER...a nice set of bulging arm muscles in a fitted half sleeve shirt does send quite a different message

Agree. Saw a beautiful man in the audience the other night in a white fitted dress shirt, sleeves rolled up. Took me all my power not to jump off the stage and pin him to the floor.

Grey hair? I'd been near full grey since I was a 10 years old.

I guess that is why every checkout girl blushes when I chat to them.
