Now that there's more of a social acceptance of sex, and more liberal than we were say 30 yrs ago.

Do you think that high street should become more mainstream.

Say all sex shops have a section for say regulated gloryhole..

Or further still even Boots??

Sectionen of as adults only or even pubs...

Would it work or are we even readycfor such a concept.??

Sex may be more socially acceptable but not everyone is as sex orientated as you appear to be in your op. You can't just subject people to sex in the high street... its a bit rapey. And what about children? Is it fair to expose them to sex (even just the advertising for such a thing)?

I personally don't like it when people are standing around in the street with leaflets about charities or religions... its too forceful and difficult to avoid and somewhat awkward. So having glory holes in public or in pubs etc would just be awful. Can you imagine the pressure people would feel if they went into that pub? Not necessarily the pressure to do anything but the looks and the assumption that they're there to suck dicks through a hole because the pub has a glory hole...

Just no. Terrible idea.

However many argue kids are exposed younger to easily now anyway.....through others means..

Would they be used? Sure. And not just gloryholes. The wars on drugs, sex and much else will never be won. Adults should be free to enjoy their bodies as they consensually wish. This could be a fuller step for sexual liberation.

I think it's quite sad that people want to force sex into everyday lives to be honest.

Seeking secret signs to identify swingers and glory holes in high Street shops is not a society I want to live in personally.

Yes people may be more able to talk about sex and be more free in terms of how they practice it but to not be able to do your daily shopping without having some sort of sexual gratification indicates issues to me.

I've lived in a few countries and nowhere has it perfectly. I guess my idea is something like swinging club-light/ porn cruising place. I've not fully imagined the workable solution yet. But we have repressive forces at work that are resisting liberties for an adult population. Those uninterested wouldn't visit. And adults only.

I don't see the viability here, we have sex clubs, swinging clubs, adult product shops, hotels, and homes. most are not on main high streets admittedly but it's a niche business, just not enough customers for prime location.

Yes had forgot about Ann Summers, that's a good point ...how on earth did they get permission for such window displays in such prominent positions.Where as you stated easily seen by young children...

It would never work in the U.K. Places would not make enough money to keep going for very long becaus such places would have to be out of town as in areas just off of bypasses and such.

Also just imagin what would happen as soon as the fuckwits who currently spoil the old dogging spots by either not respecting other people's activities by boy racing around and harassing people just for the laugh.

Wouldn't that depend on their age? Try "Ooh, look over there, a fire engine!", or "When two people love each other very much, and one of them is a little thirsty.... "

There are plenty of adult-only things on the high street: amusement arcades, betting shops, pubs, tobacconists, porn mags, Anne Summers (if you don't like the underwear displays in Anne Summers, why is M&S different?)

What I struggle with is how we've managed to end up in the situation where murder, violence and torture are deemed acceptable forms of entertainment, but sex is still taboo.

As social-conditioning goes, the religious "You dirty little thing, you'll burn in hell" is far more unnatural when you think about it...

If it's going to be in Boots, then make it a private zone where condoms can be tried on for size, like clothing can be tried in in changing rooms. A small fee would apply, but a selection of condoms provided in the cost, so not all have to be tried there and then and could be taken home.

As for Advantage points, I doubt they would be covered in the terms and conditions at first.

I don't think M&S is different....I think their displays are also innapropriate

Betting shops are strict with their over 18's policy...cigarettes are now covered up in supermarkets and porn mags have to be covered up and out of children's eyeline and you hardly see them these days and quite rightly so ...murder and violence I also find unnecessary in tv and films....I think we have no filter or shock factor anymore and unfortunately it's part of day to day life....my son is 13 and my daughter is 10 and hate what they see and hear on a day to day basis with the internet and tv.....you can't even watch a fucking shampoo advert at 4 in the afternoon with the girl looking like she's having an orgasm so fuck your gloryhole in boots.....keep things clean and simple x

The public gloryhole days of old,in cottages (public toilets,mainly mens to my knowledge )have all but gone..still one or two around..Gay and bi sauna's sex clubs and some pubs have gloryholes

..but the increase is really in the private gloryhole..most towns and cities in Britain will have something like what I offer. .I started mine because of demand..and the public ones disappearing. . Most of my callers identify as straight and wouldn't feel comfortable going to tesco to unload! Who's next? J

Everybody's very angry about the Boots thing, but in the OP's defence, he did say "sex shops" and tacked on pubs and Boots as a flippant extension to the concept. Personally, I don't see any harm in glory holes in sex shops. It's not like you're going to wander in there with your kids, looking for a can of tango and a bag of wotsits. Quit latching onto the throwaway gag as an excuse to leap onto your high horse and lecture everyone about how awful they are, you shower of mentalists.
