They are all different variations of a muffin . Some are floured some have holes some are sprayed with water to make the crusty ....

I know because I was a baker

When I was first cut adrift here in the industrial East Midlands from the green fields of the Home Counties I was astonished to see an entire shop dedicated to sweetcorn.

Then I found out that "The Cob Shop" actually sold cheese rolls and the like.
