I have left mid shag many times and i would hope they would do the same

i'd always try and change it so we were both enjoying it first but if that failed i'd leave

How do you know they're enjoying it more than you? Maybe they think "oh they seem to be enjoying themselves I should make it look as if I am too and not say anything"

Seriously though OP, if everyone scored their enjoyment out of 100, it stands to reason that sometimes you'll have different scores, doesn't it? So long as it's swings and roundabouts surely it doesn't matter though does it?
