How public is Fabs?

Just had unsolicited random kik messages from someone stalking the site but not yet a member. I know the forums are public but are our profiles too?

(I'm not arsed as I'm very open about my shenanigans. Just curious)

I think there is a settings in private to hide your profile from public search. I bear with me I will take a look

Profiles are viewable to the public but pics are blured. I do belive I could be wrong. There's a button in accounts to click if you don't want to show up in search engines ie Google. Xxx

You can read the forums but the pics are blurred out. Not sure about anything.

You have to state it on your privacy settings. The default setting is that non members can view a profile... It has to be changed to hide it x

Doesn't it depend on your settings? I think you can come up on a public search but not sure how much of your profile they can see?

If you don't set the privacy setting to not showing for unregistered users you can be found on search engines and your profile is public

Click on privacy via account settings and you could choose to hide your profile to none members

How have they got your kik details?

Your profile isn't visible to non- members.

is your kik username the same as on here, as that is the only way they would find you tbh

Not sure I get it. He could see my profile, but my privacy settings are blocked to non members. Glitch in The Matrix somewhere

He was fibbing, or viewing with someone else.

I just checked, your profile isn't visible to anyone not logged in.

on the forum it's public and they do blur your pic but only the first and last letter if your name is starred out. it's often easy to guess peoples user names from that.
