Winter is coming

How long before the heating goes on fabbers?

Thought about it tonight, it's bloody chilly....haven't caved in yet though! Determined to make it to November at least

I'm hoping to last till November unless there's a particular cold snap. Plenty of scope for jumpers and sofa blankets before then.

It's on now I'm freezing and I'm cooking in the kitchen so if I was sat down I would be bundled in blankets!

Well to be honest I'm at that age where I'm boiling all the time so I'm hoping I can hold off on the heating for another year or two hehe.

People at work took the piss out of me and called me tight for saying it had to be at least October before I will consider putting it on!

Bugger that! My heating is always on, I'd rather be half naked than wrapped up in jumpers

"I've still got the patio door open'... "

We've had the doors and windows open all day.

Heating goes on in late October comes off in March.

It cost a fair few quid to insulate our house, but it was worth every penny. Our heating bills are tiny for its size.

Our heating comes on automatically if the temperature inside drops below a certain level.

Exactly.

We've still got windows open at Casa de naughty, I only wear short sleeves year round. I'm a tight arse too so refuse to put heating on if only to stick it to the gas bandits.

It's still warm in the day here but definately getting chilly in the night. Although most of the windows are shut anyway just to keep the spiders out. I'm sure they are on steroids

It can stay off 24/7/365 so far as I'm concerned - I absolutely adore the cold. Mrs has other thoughts, but me ? The colder the better ...
