Just a wee rant. I came across the most obviously fake profile in the history of fake profiles. The pics were of someone 'Internet famous' from America. That has over 6m followers on Instagram.

The more annoying thing is that it had two veri's. One from a hidden profile and one from a VERY active couple.

Why are people giving out fake veri's? I suppose in a sense i rely on my fellow-fabbers verifications to keep us all a little safe and updated in this little world of trying to have some fun.

I'm probably overreacting by being annoyed, I know, but I just find it really disrespectful to all the other users to sing the praises of someone on a veri that wouldn't be living in a crappy northern town when they clearly live the high life in LA!!!

Aye that's a possibility. Never thought of that. Still though. They shouldn't be using internet pics should they? X

Nope. I'm just saying the person that verified them isn't necessarily at fault; some people are sneaky buggers.
