What are the best candles for wax play? I know you should use low temperature ones, but can you get them on the high street, or do you need to get specialist ones?

Use coloured candles for preference. Red looks good.

Long, tall ones are best but any will do

All I can say with certainty is that despite their diminutive size, those birthday cake candles melt at a surprisingly high temperature.

We didn't really need a safe word, since Mrs ddc was thrown clean off the bed by the involuntary spasm

Lovehoney and Ann Summers do them.

LUTON

I've bought wax play candles from some sexy website...WAY TOO HOT.

I bought a soy wax candle from TK Maxx. it felt like warm water. Ordinary decorative candles were not too hot.

wax however was every where in the room when we finished. we put down plastic sheeting but once the wax cooled and we picked/scrapped it off it went all over as we cleaned it up. little wax shavings everywhere. Better to play on not carpeted floor.

Use a shower curtain, can fold it up once finished and comes off easily
