Cars passing,I live on the main road but a country road but as soon as it hits around midnight apart from a sporadic car,it almost becomes ghostly and quiet for the whole night,even further along,as I just live off the motorway where you head to Aberdeen or South it's busy through the day,but it's like clicking a switch and it's so silent

I can hear the breeze wafting through the trees, occasionally the swimming pool vents saying a sort of 'plop', traffic somewhere in the distance and I swear I just heard the gin in the fridge quietly urging "set me free, set me free". Maybe this Cypriot sunshine has addled my brain.
