"Oh easy I loved my Peugeot 306GTi6 Awesome car to drive especially on country roads. The poor thing finally went up in flames ?? " My garage looked at mine and said there was a very real risk of that happening and to get whatever I could sell it for. Totally gutted, handles like a dream, quick as anything and just wonderful to drive. Never been much of a car person but I may even shed a tear

" After nearly 10 years today I say goodbye to my BMW 330i. An absolute dream to drive and so sad to see it go. So what has been your favourite car to drive?" Out of all the cars I have had from skylines to cosworths my favourite was my Clio williams. Always regretted letting that go.

" After nearly 10 years today I say goodbye to my BMW 330i. An absolute dream to drive and so sad to see it go. So what has been your favourite car to drive?" I had a 330i beaut of a car. Most fun car I drove was an RX7 import with about 700 horses. Impossible to keep in a straight line but just a laugh beyond all laughs

"My classic mini's, by far the most fun on four wheels - ess" I had a mini. Not my favourite but boy, it had character. Wouldn't drive over 60. The boot held shut with a padlock, and it was Orange. I drove to the seaside with 5 lads in the car.

"Must be heart wrenching watching a loved one go. Will you miss the gear shifts? Her big boot? " Totally, in sports mode you simply didn't notice the gears shifting, the boot wasn't big but was beautifully formed. Sleek lines, gorgeous figure and a real head turner. Gave me so many memorable rides.

"My Escort RS Turbo around 15 years ago. It had Spax adjustable suspension, big brakes and was running around 230bhp For a car built in 1986 it was amazing! Accelerated like a bullet and handled like it was on rails. My current Fiesta ST is not far behind it though! Real drivers car " Is it the new fiesta St? I want one as my next car- back to a 1.6 turbo engine in light car just like the old feistas and escorts rsts.

It's not the new shape no - it's the older one with the 2.0L engine but heavily modified for track use. The new shape are also excellent but drive a little differently due to the turbo (power in different places etc) Bother cars handle incredibly! Either on a country lane are an absolute hoot!

"Alfa 147 GTA with plenty of AutoDelta upgrades. She handled like on rails and left supercars in its wake, brings a tear to the eye thinking about her! " Mine was an Alfa Spider 3.2 (same Basso engine as the GTA) I had a 3.2 GTV afterwards but it wasn't the same. The sound of that engine with Ragazzon pipes, especially from cold, was extraordinary. The torque delivery and the way people stopped and looked when you drove past. It was a proper drivers car too, handles like it was in a cartoon most of the time but would bite you if you were being a plonker. I have a GT now and although it's a "better" car it's nothing like the older Alfa's, especially since they switched from the Busso engines to the GM based JTSO's.

It had 575bhp and demolished most things on the road at the time. I thought I'd regret selling it when I first started tuning it but it was actually the best thing I ever did. The clutch was brutal in traffic or when cold and with so much power coming through the back wheels all the time it constantly wanted to swap ends even in the dry regardless of what chasis mods I'd done. It would have been perfect if I'd stopped at around 400bhp.

Yeah it's fair to say that was the last 'proper' alfa engine. Same with the t-sparks before they went over to the jts units. Mine was running just over 400bhp with a straight through exhaust, it turned heads everywhere it went. Okay now the tears are here! It was on my list too but couldn't justify the fuel economy of the 3.2 GT My 1.9 has the Q2 and as you said, it's vital in the 3.2. Autolusso supply and fit them for reasonable money (they've also developed a sequential gearbox with Quaife, ask Ned to take you out for a drive in his). The only other things to watch for on the GT is the floor rusting, crushed sills from dodgy mechanics and upper wishbone bushes.

I have heard that they were doing this and reckon it's better than the Q2! Is that a retro sequential or if the sillyspeed is already in? All the same issues as the 147, since they are the same car hardly surprising lol

Fun fact about the Selespeed box, it's exactly the same system as used by Ferrari. The reason most people have issues with it is because of crap mechanics not knowing how it works (they're actually quite easy).

"My VW Golf mk 3.....2.6ltr turbo injection..the thing flew It was also my first car I had a mk3 2.8 vr6. Thing was a weapon! I had in 1997 a 350hp Cosworth Sierra that destroyed 2.8 vr6 golf's.. i'd let them go past just to get behind them then unleash the destroyer.. ahhhh the good old days My old Cossie was built by Seven Valley. Yes!!!! My fez has a 2L cossie duratec in it If it doesn't have a Cosworth badge on the rear outta the factory then I win Wouldn't on the track though! " We should do a Fab go-karting social, would be fun to who is the fastest fabber in town!

"BMW 335D.... Had to go after I got my last trio of points taking me up to nine. Only took 11 months from first indiscretion to my last court appearance! That last one was 97 mph in a 70 and the copper made a mistake and told me 96.. After the error was discovered, they decided to leave it at 97, but not give me a court appearance! Then got the Jag which has finally died 6 years later.. No idea what to get now..." A pushbike would possibly be a good idea!
