sports cam help....

Hello , this is for all the clever people on Fab,

I have a sports cam, ( think knock off go pro) it's pretty nifty , it's supposed to be wifi enabled to be used via my iPhone. But every time I follow the instructions of joining the SSID addy from wifi settings my phone, it states , no internet connection.

What am I doing wrong? Any ideas.?

In your wireless settings check the box that says personal wifi hotspot. That needs to be on for wifi devices to connect to it.

I've checked all my wifi settings, restarted my internet , tried it on another phone, my laptop and smart tv lol .

As soon as I click on the addy for the camera, I get no internet connection
