River thames

I'm sat by the river Thames in Windsor listerning to the radio and thinking how great it would be to live next to a river.. its do peaceful

It's nice down there for sure. And just around the corner / up the road is the appropriately named Theatre Royal. If any theatre can proclaim themselves Royal it's that one! Right opposite the castle

Although hearing 'oh god, I'm so wet' could mean the boats taking on water.

Actually - OP recently re read that old classic “three men in a boat”. Jerome k Jerome based on the old camping rowing skiff on the Thames of it day of course but still funny

But imagine…. being able to swim in the river with the need of a stomach pump !
