Purely a self centred needy post but having just had recent surgery I'm hurting really really bad and laid here feeling sorry for myself and have no one to give me a hug and make me feel better

Knee replacement second in 3 months so like you I got some metal but I'd have your piercing pain over this any day x

Rest up. If you have used up your pain killers, then try listening to some relaxing music and breathing slowly and deeply.

Don't know how many days after the operation you are, maybe ask your doctor for an increase in strength tablets.

Hope you manage to get to sleep. It will get easier as each day passes. Hugs xx

Try an ice pack in that case, it will help control inflammation and pain.

Surgery for what?

Cant just give out hugs for free.. You could of had a nose job or a mole removed. (both dont warrent a hug btw)

Where as I got give plenty of that, codeine and they forgot my anti inflammatories! I had a carrier bag full of stuff though - even had to inject myself for 2 weeks!

Get better soon lovely (alcohol helps sleep - naughty as it maybe) xx
