I have just adopted a rescue kitten that had a rocky start in life.

He is completely black, and tiny, very cute. Has anybody got any great suggestions for names?

I can't understand why people ignore black cats, they are gorgeous. Two of my four are black, and two of my departed cats were both long haired black cats who chose me. They didn't give me a choice

my cats have maya names for jaguar and leopard shortened..so mitsy and bally

panther would be a good one, but if you shorten it it might come up as panties and singing that out at 11pm to your neighbours, might not be a good idea

I didn't mind the colour, because I heard that black cats are often less popular I was more keen to offer a home to a black one.
