i've been feeling poorly and not ventured out and about i completely forgot to get my little one an easter egg..

no but its her first Easter where she would actually enjoy ripping open the packaging and spending hours demolishing a chocolate egg

I don't need to declare my love on a special day I did it on a daily basis. I was made to feel very bad I ended up sending some flowers to her work the next day

wasn't trying to be nasty Kim, just meant that in the grand scheme of things she won't miss one egg and it's more important to her that she has a healthy mum xx

Hope you're feeling better. As for easter eggs, couldn't you hard boil an egg and then get her to decorate it with pens etc. Then when you are able, go to the shops and get her an easter egg as a thank you for decorating the egg for you.

Only downside is I don't know how long it would keep before it started going off, and children have a habit of asking to see their artwork! Would suggest taking a photo of it for posterity.
