Answers will vary according to what your interest are.

Historical type places?

Somewhere to just go on the lash?

Seaside town?

Party town?

Suitable for kids?

I like Glasgow for a city break. Northumberland coast if you want countryside.

Depends what you are into?

We love stately homes so tend to go to beautiful locations but we have also had some great city breaks too, think bath was our favourite out of city breaks and coombe abbey in Coventry is our favourite hotel for pure relaxation

Pickering for a chance to ride a steam train to Whitby. Nice food and nice ale.

York for a rip off weekend. (See London etc)

Or if your feeling frisky. Try the lakes great walking to get rid of those frustrations.. erm well not all of them.

Mixture of the first four lol, thinking Blackpool as it's cheap and cheerful. What's the swinging scene like midweek in Blackpool does anyone know? X

You could always come to sunny Haslemere, lol.

Some nice hotels round here and some lovely country and historic sites.

And of course there is always my flat, lol.

Depends on how far you want to travel, when you want to go & what you like!

I'd say city wise:

Bath / Bristol

London

Edinburgh

Country wise ~ Kendal / Lake District / Cotsworlds / New Forest

Worthing

Use Brighton as a base and visit some great Sussex towns. Then back home for a great night out. Brighton is great.
