your arm will soon expand to twice the size of normal

then blow apart

spraying the area in arterial blood spasm pumps of crimson drama

then you will freak out and die in the most horrible way ever ! and your mutant blown off arm will become like a zombie arm - and attakc and kill everyone in your neighbourhood!

contact the nhs line - go get yourself checked next week

youll be all oks and fine

I've had two but never had them break. You need to call NHS direct, I don't imagine keeping it in your arm in two parts is a smart thing to do. They'll be able to tell you what to do.

Good luck. x

"I hate to ask but what on earth is an implant? "

its a little plastic tube inserted under the skin of your inner arm that releases contraceptive chemical into your system which lasts about 3 years

Ooo thats rude of her. I would think its far better than trying to remember a pill every day. Isn't technology clever these days.

suffolk

I have had 2 implants and never had one break but the last one i had did get embedded in the skin and was really painful to remove so i would go get it removed and replaced asap before it moves.

Also from the contraceptive point of view, if broken it may not release hormones as it should - just a thought

As you had it surgically implanted you need it surgically removed my own gp dont do it and they sent me to the family planning clinic to have it done. If its bothering you or its painful go to a and e or wait till tuesday.
