Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

Got one with my change from Tescos on the way home. Showed it to P who said "It's like Monopoly money". I then showed our son who (while I was making a cuppa) promptly stuck it in his piggy bank so I don't have it any more. He did ask who the new bloke on it is though.

Saw one at work on Saturday, they're completely smaller than the older ones far brighter and feel oh so weird, must be the plastic in them, least they won't shrink in the wash...be a bugger to iron tho

Yep, I've used the plastic notes in Canada and Australia.

I did find they don't fold up as neatly and feel odd when you have the emergency money in your bra.
