As I am travelling alone at the moment, I have spent a few evenings recently reading the stories and fantasies forum.

Quite frankly I am a little shocked by how many are based around blackmail, forced sex, slavery, abuse etc.

Is it a common theme, or just a current trend? where is it coming from? am I the only out of touch person, or are there others who find this sort of thing troubling? if I was after meets there would be a lot of the "more please" posters on my block and avoid lists.

I think OPhas a made a very fair point. We syarted to try and read erotic literature, and virtially everything was girl dominated by guy, beaten then humiliated and eventually she would 'find herself'. Few tender loving erotic stories

Some of the posts on the other forums from men asking for ways to get their wife into swinging trouble me more because they're actually intending to act on any ideas received. Lots of them are "sure" that if only the love of their life was put in a position where other men or women clearly wanted to have sex with her she would take to it like duck to water. What shocks and saddens me about those threads apart from the intent behind them is the amount of people actually willing to support the guy in his attempts to coerce an unwilling woman who often by the ops own account has refused several times.

I'm also horribly disheartened by the number of people who think that there are degrees of consent when it comes to sexual activity and men are less entitled to consent on some occasions e.g. being flashed.

I find the fantasies that are clearly impossible less concerning than the ones that have clearly been thought through and could be carried out. But having spoken at length to a couple who were heavily involved in BDSM and the fetish scene some people consent to some of this stuff.

Role play with an established relationship is fine, and fun. though even with my wife I would not role play coercion those bounderies are not an area I would enjoy.

Totally accept that some enjoy the Dom Sub ownership dynamic, but when a secret video of consentual extra marital sex is used to assult blackmail and coerce into sexual slavery the bounderies get quite creepy.

As posted above there are a lot on the real life forums where posters are looking for ways to trick or force their wives into swinging in some form or another. So fantasy does spill over, OK a normal mind can grasp that forcing someone, does not lead to them enjoying it and having a sexual revaluation that they held repressed. But it's a bit scary that some minds do believe what they read.

The issue is that it is ( should be) no more than a fantasy.

That fantasy can , of course, be enacted in role play , as it is with experienced bdsm practitioners, and between people who know and trust each other.

However, there are too many people who cannot distinguish the line between fantasy and consensual role play/bdsm and the " real thing".

And there are a lot of rather stupid people ( who have also probably watched porn and think it's real) who appear on here with rather disturbing ideas.

Completely agree, fantasies live in my own mind, real life is when it's real. There are some fantasies I have that I question myself. (Surely I'm not alone)

I then think agreeing to go through with a fantasy had to be something that's collectively agreed on. There's no way it would be fun if I was forced to do it, or I blackmailed somebody into it. I find that a big turn off.

I used to put stories I had written on the forum list for stories , I stopped as my stories were both considered to long,, what me ramble . Also being to romantic.

The stories there are fantasy, peoples ideas and creations . Though to be honest most are not my cup of tea.
