"I know it will sound daft, especially after the OP, but having sex again and throwing myself into all of this gave me a little swagger. I had been celibate for a very long time before doing all this stuff and my friends were awestruck that I went from that to this. I'm also a little proud of my short session at Speakers' Corner last year. " No - Never daft, anything that makes you feel better about yourself has to be a good thing in my book. As for public speaking - now that is a brave thing to do.

"On the back of Licketysplits amazing Thank You post, how about blowing your own trumpet on here. Brag about something you have done that you smile about, something that gives you a little cocky swagger or just makes you feel good. I will start with mine - It may seem a little far fetched but it is entirely true. Back in February of this year I heard a scream coming from a neighbours house. I ignored the first scream thinking it was kids messing around but a second scream had me opening the front door to see what was happening. As I opened the door I saw a very distressed young lady and she was screaming for help. Dressed in slippers, tracksuit bottoms and a dressing gown I legged it down the path to see what was up. She said that someone was killing her mom and she needed help and pointed to an open door. I didnt even hesitate and ran in to the house. I could see someone lying on the floor and and she was covered in blood, I ran to see what I could do and was about to get something to stop the bleeding when I turned round and saw someone. This someone turned out to be the ladies stepson and he was holding a knife. He just looked at me and said nothing - I asked if I could help the lady and he just continued to stare at me - I had never been so frightened. I kept talking to him whilst helping the lady (and shitting myself). I kept him talking until another person who knew the guy with the knife came in to the house and managed to get the knife away from him. 30 seconds later the police arrived and I was taken to safety. As you can imagine I had to speak to the police A LOT over the next few days but they insist that I had saved this lady from being killed by her stepson. It has just gone to court but he has pleaded guilty so I can now speak about it and dont have to testify. I still feel a little foolish for doing what I did but also feel a bit BatMan'ish especially as I think about me running down the path with my dressing gown flowing behind me!" Hero!!!!

"Will interest almost nobody but I'm soooo close to breaking 150dB on my sound system I don't play it around built up areas, too many car alarms go off and it shakes glass etc. I'm rather considerate
