I think a classy woman is one who struggles to burp the whole alphabet, maybe running out of wind around p or q. Only men should be able to reach the Z.

A classy woman is one of elegance, poise, refined as opposed to one who is vulgar, common or crude. It has nothing to do with money or social standing or sexual preference. You can spot it a mile off and those that want to be but never will. Look at Sarah Ferguson, being titled does not change the fact that she's vulgar. Its the difference between Dita Von Teese and Kerry Katona.

Classy comes naturally, you have it or you don't but many try and fail. You are what you are at the end of the day.

I have met a few who you would conciser classy and they are unpleasant and a few more common types who are down to earth and really nice. I always find it strange some think that if someone is one way they will be nicer.

It's a well put post, but I'd argue about Dita von Teese being what I would term classy - ever heard an interview with her? And not forgetting her long-term relationship with Marilyn Manson! She looks classy, but for me, that's not all that "classy" is.

I see your Dita von Teese, and raise you Joanna Lumley

I do think Dita is a classy lady, but that last couple of words wasnt really the main essence of the post, it was just an example to demonstrate my point. I dont understand your reference to Marilyn Manson either, I dont see how her relationship with him would suddenly turn her into a chav. But I totally agree with Joanna Lumley, yes definitely a classy lady

It dosn't matter if you are classy or not as long as you are a nice person.

classy is surely knowing how to look good, smell good, and behave well in public... whilst knowing how to be totally naughty behind closed doors
