I have a friend who is going to a faith healer tomorrow but i am really sceptical.

To go to a faith healer you need faith. There are people out there with 'gifts'... I hope your friend has found the genuine article.

Placebo is one healing power not to be dismissed... ultimately if a person feels better for having had a treatment I would argue that is justification in itself?

Personally I would not consult this kind of treatment as I would want some scientific rather than an anecdotal evidence. But.... each to their own
