Does anyone actually manage to get a productive day in when working from home or is it just me that is easily distracted onto Fab. lol

My boss is Mr so although i get the work done it takes twice as long as it probably should ( not all down to fabs as i have a son and puppy to entertain too).

I leave stuff logged on, doesn't mean I'm on here, just done a bit of work, cuppa, quick look & post then back to work, sooner I get bikes done the sooner they can go back to happy owners the sooner my wallet has folding in it & the sooner I can get another one in the workshop..

If I was a salaried bod though....I'd be fck'd...

I work on the theory that I will do 1 hours work, then perv for 10 minutes as a treat/reward.

It Invariably turns out I'm rewarding my 1 hour of perving with 10 minutes work

Still , it get the work done

Haha. Last few days ( I've been very quite with my work) I have been on here most of the day. Tomorrow I'm going to make a conscious effort to turn off, and just pop on once in a while. Like on the hour every hour.

It's very distracting, especially on the good days when there are loads of threads, and talking privately.

Absolutely not! Doesn't help that the mobile Internet I get at work is faster than my WiFi at home! Lol

I find it very easy to get distracted by Fab but as long as I hit my deadlines it is not a problem - none missed so far.

I spent Monday with my head seemingly in Neverland after spending the weekend at Alton Towers, the alcohol consumed probably didn't help. Yesterday was too hot to do much except paperwork, so a productive week so far here

If I have something mind numbing that doesn't need me to talk to anyone (quarterly tax recs) then I will work from home for at least a day a quater other than that in the office where I sit there is hardly anyone so I don't tend to talk to that many people
